March 31, 2012..Annual Running for Rachael (Brain Booster 5K)

This year the run/walk is being held at the Cadet Field House 2169 Field House Drive USAFA, CO 80840 due to increased security on the base. Same day registration and check in will begin at the Field House at 9:00am with the run/walk starting at 10:00am. This event is on a military installation please do NOT bring backpacks, hydration packs are allowed. Be sure to have your ID, car registration and insurance to get on to the base. Pleae use the North Gate entrance, there will be signs directing you to the Field House. All proceeds from this event go to pediatric brain tumor research at Children's National Medical Center.

Michael Pharis with Leave Your Mark Events is graciously helping us again this year. He has several great ideas to spruce up the event.

The course is fun but challenging with beautiful views of Northern Colorado Springs area and the Cadet Area of the United States Air Force Academy.

Plan to stay after the run when we will be giving out the awards,having a drawing for prizes, fodd and visit with our vendors. We will have a DJ and BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs.

There will be plenty of parking in the Field House parking area.

Register early and save! Only $25.00 for the early registration fee from now until March 17, 2012! Late registration is $30.00 from March 18, 2012 through day of registration. Online registration will close on March 29th but you can always register on race day! With your entry you will receive a bag that has a long sleeve tee shirt and goodies.

Putt Putt Golf Tournament

Saturday May 19, 2012 from 9am-1pm

At the Glow Golf at Chapel Hills Mall (up stairs next to Sears)

A day of family fun! If you have never been to GlowGolf at the Chapel Hills Mall, they have two 18 hole courses. We will start at 9:00am and play one course, break for lunch, and then play the second course. We will be providing concessions for a donation throughout the day. You can keep score if you like; we are just out to have fun. If you get a hole in one on the plinko you will receive a free round of GlowGolf at a later time. We will also have door prizes. Bring the whole family out! Proceeds from this event go to research for pediatric brain tumors at the Brain Tumor Institute at Children’s National Medical Center.
